Chloride Removal
If you're involved in finding solutions to complex wastewater issues, you've probably already heard of VSEP. Leading consulting engineers have presented papers at a variety of technical conferences recently outlining their work with VSEP for RO reject treatment, and other high TDS wastewaters.
Why? Because VSEP makes the impossible possible. VSEP uses RO membranes to separate the high TDS streams, removing chlorides and taking overall water recoveries to previously unthinkable levels.
How? Simply put, it's the vibration. By vibrating the membranes, VSEP is not susceptible to the scaling seen in spiral modules. As such, VSEP can be used like a crystallizer, actually precipitating solids out of solution within the filter pack. The only limitation is osmotic pressure.
What can VSEP do for your high chloride stream?
